The Henderson Story

Henderson Properties is a full-service real estate company founded in 1990 by Phil and Shelly Henderson, and today comprises of four divisions across five offices in the Greater Charlotte, North Carolina area, including York County, South Carolina. Our vision is providing real estate services that positively affect the quality of people’s lives every day.

Henderson Properties all started when Phil and Shelly Henderson began turning their own homes into rentals, and a colleague approached them about managing a rental. This led to referrals for more rentals, and over the past 30 years, Henderson Properties has grown from a small, home office to a thriving business that employs over 80 staff members. We manage over 800 investment properties, more than 200 community associations of all types, and provide renovations and maintenance services to owners, tenants, and the general public. Our residential real estate sales office in Charlotte serves anyone wishing to buy or sell homes with a team that cares. Today, Henderson Investment Group serves investment groups and individuals seeking an easy, quick, one-source solution for maximizing residential investments. We communicate timely and accurately with you across all service areas. This means engaging in continuous improvement, recruiting and training our staff, deploying the latest technology, and actively listening to you, our client.
